TO Bar at the Tourism Fair in Slovakia

After a two-year break, the Tourist Organization (TO) Bar is again presenting the tourist offer of the city at the three-day international tourism fair ITF Slovakiatour in Bratislava. During the fair, meetings with tour operators and interviews with media representatives will be organized.

"Slovakia is an important emission market, primarily because of Slovaks' habits of traveling abroad for summer vacations, but also because of the improving economic situation and increase in the disposable income of citizens. Estimates are that in 2019, the average nominal salary in the economy will amount to 1.011 euros. Main the motives of travel for Slovaks are still passive vacations, and they most often choose traditional, proven and safe destinations, among which is Montenegro. it is not threatened because in addition to tourists who come in an organized manner, we also have a number of individuals," said TO Bar director Emil Kukalj.

The TO adds that the offers of Bar and Montenegro are presented on a 30 square meter stand "which is centrally positioned and which attracts significant attention of visitors".

In order to present a quality presentation of our cultural heritage, a performance was organized by the KUD "Jedinstvo" from Bar, which performed dances from Montenegro.

"This was an opportunity for visitors to take photos with members of Bar folklore, and in order to animate the visitors, a prize game was organized at the stand, which also aimed to increase the base of contacts. The Montenegrin stand on the first day of the Fair was also visited by representatives of the Embassy of Montenegro from of Vienna, which is also responsible for the territory of Slovakia", added the TO Bar.

The ITF Slovakiatour fair is the largest tourism fair in Slovakia and one of the most important in Central Europe, and the organizers estimate that the fair is visited by more than 70.000 visitors every year.
