A resident of Podgorica, who wished to remain anonymous, complained to "Vijesta" that she could not buy diapers for adults in state and private pharmacies for 15 days.
She said that she went around the whole city and that at the pharmacy counter they claim that three or four deliveries have already been made, but that there are no diapers for adults, which they receive on Tuesdays and Fridays.
"It is a sin against old and sick people," said a fellow citizen, pointing out that she found only one package of diapers, for people weighing up to 70 kilograms, in a private pharmacy in Zabjelo.
She said that diapers for adults are expensive, and that she has the right to buy two packages a month with a prescription from the state pharmacy.
"Montefarm" spokeswoman Vlatka Raičković told "Vijesta" that diapers for adults are available in the pharmacy "Kruševac" as of yesterday, as well as in pharmacies on the coast, and that they can be bought in Nikšić and in the north of Montenegro as of today.
She pointed out that by Monday, diapers will be available to citizens in all pharmacies where they are issued on prescription.
"Montefarm", however, did not respond to "Vijesti", which is why there were no diapers in Podgorica state pharmacies for two weeks.
