Actor Tihomir Stanić, for the role of Milovan Đilas in the play Everyman Đilas, received the annual award for the best results achieved on the stage of the Montenegrin National Theater (CNP).
In the explanation of the CNP Council, it is stated that Stanić in the role of Đilas achieves an exceptional effect and gives a special acting stamp in the creation of stage-poetic truth that follows the author's concept of the play based on the text and directed by Radmila Vojvodić.
"Tihomir Stanić builds the character of Milovan Đilas in a sophisticated, emotionally deep and very convincing way, and offers the audience an example of the courage of the search for freedom," the announcement states.
Annual awards for high artistic results in 2014 were also given to Gorana Marković, for the role of Suspect in the play Everyman Đilas and Mother or Violoncello in the play Allegretto Albania, Ana Vučković, for the role of Đilas's wife in the play Everyman Đilas, as well as Karmen Bardak, for roles in the plays Njegoš i ja and Everyman Đilas.
Annual awards for the best results achieved in technical, organizational and administrative practice, i.e. in all segments of production, were given to sales manager Safet Šaćiri, head of accounting Željko Vukčević, organizer Jelena Milošević, prop designer Predrag Pavićević, and hygienist Rada Marković.
The Velimir Bucko Radonjić scholarship, which is awarded to young authors for significant results achieved in the field of scenography and visual arts, was awarded to graphic designer Snežana Pupović and costume designers Lina Leković and Ivana Murišić.
CNP's certificate of appreciation for this year was awarded to the French Institute of Montenegro.
