According to Monstat data, 343.520 tourists visited Montenegro in July, 1,3 percent less than in the same period last year.
Tourists made 2,31 million overnight stays in July, 0,9 percent more than in the same period last year. Of these, 91,8 percent of overnight stays were made by foreigners, and 8,2 percent by domestic tourists.
The most overnight stays were made by tourists from Russia 33,6 percent, followed by guests from Serbia with 26,5 percent, Bosnia and Herzegovina 7,9 percent, Ukraine 6,2 percent, Kosovo 3,3 percent, Poland 2,5 percent, Belarus 2,4 percent, the Czech Republic 1,9 percent.
Tourists from other countries accounted for 15,7 percent of overnight stays.
Monstat stated that the most overnight stays were in coastal towns 98,6 percent, mountain towns and the capital 0,5 percent each.
