The traditional cultural, entertainment and sports event "River Zeta" starts tonight in Danilovgrad.
The first evening will be marked by the election for Miss Zeta River, and a cultural and entertainment program has also been announced.
Stocking of the Zeta River is planned for Saturday, August 23, after which, at nine o'clock, the "Days of Healthy Food" and the "Fair of Old Crafts and Souvenirs" will be opened on the 9th of December Square.
For the second day of the event, a competition of anglers in the "hook on a float" discipline is planned, followed by a competition in swimming across the river and jumping off the diving board.
One of the participants of the "Healthy Food Day", the owner of the company "Agrovita Eco", Svetozar Radonjić will hold a promotion of the scientific research project "Conservation of Genetic Resources - Sveto Sava" at 10 am.
Judging by the organizers' announcements, the final day of the event will be the most interesting.
On Sunday, August 24, cooking teams from Danilovgrad and the surrounding towns will compete in preparing fish soup, and in addition, a wooden boat race and show jumps from the bridge are planned.
This year, in the sports part of the event, the games without borders on the water were included, which will start on Sunday at 14 pm.
The organizers of the event are the local Tourist Organization and the Cultural Center, and the sponsor is the Municipality of Danilovgrad.
