The municipal police passed a decision on the removal of the awning of the former "Touch" cafe, although the Building Inspection had previously established that it had been installed legally.
Several unofficial sources from the Municipal Police have confirmed that a decision has been issued to remove the awning, turned into a concrete slab, of the coffee shop located on the south stand of the City Stadium and sent to the owner Ljubomir Radunović.
The owners of business premises on the southern stand reported to the Municipal Police and the Building Inspection that Radunović had poured a concrete slab on the existing awning.
The Directorate for Inspection Affairs announced that the Spatial Protection Inspection carried out the inspection and that "there were no grounds for taking administrative measures".
Radunović claims that the awning was erected by the tenant of the cafe, and that he only poured the "concrete liner".
"I have been the owner of this space for 22 years, and I also opened the first cafe at the 'Blue, blue' stadium. I've never done anything bad to anyone, and if I've made a mistake here, I'll destroy everything myself. This awning was erected by the previous owner, who had a permit for it, and I poured a four-centimeter-thick concrete liner," said Radunović.
He showed "Vijesti" the decision by which he was approved to set up a temporary facility - an awning from the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic. Although the concrete slab does not belong to the temporary building, Radunović claims that it is his right to use what kind of insulation he will use and what he will cover the awning with.
They issued a permit, but they don't know what was done
The Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic, which is managed by Miomir M. Mugoša, announced that they had issued solutions for the installation of the prefabricated building, but that they did not know what kind of work was being carried out.
Several unofficial sources of "Vijesti" claim that Mugoša is one of the owners of the cafe "Touch", which he strongly denied, calling on the competent authorities to check it.
These sources also believe that the concrete slab - awning - spoils the appearance of the stadium. They believe that this is why the permit should not have been issued. The Secretariat did not respond that, despite this, the permit was issued.
