The Embassy of Great Britain presented 11 winners of the Chiving scholarship

The British Embassy in Podgorica presented certificates to the winners of the Chevening scholarship and thus, as announced, continued positive changes in the number of scholarships awarded in Montenegro.

The embassy, ​​as stated, presented 11 scholarship winners last night, and the new scholarship application cycle will last until November 6.

The Chiving Scholarships are a global scholarship program of the British Government, funded by the Foreign Office of the United Kingdom (UK) and partner organisations.

The Embassy explained that the program awards young, potential leaders from around the world for postgraduate studies at UK universities.

This scholarship was established in 1983 and has developed into a prestigious international program.

Scholarship winners are young people from more than 150 countries and territories in the world, and this year the program will support more than 1,6 thousand scholarship recipients.

There are currently almost 55 thousand recipients of this scholarship worldwide, who together form an influential and respected global network.

The programme, it said, provides a full scholarship at postgraduate level, usually for a one-year master's degree at any UK university, and includes living costs in the UK.

These scholarships, it added, support British foreign policy priorities, create lasting positive relationships with future leaders and develop influence on decision-makers around the world.

"Candidates are usually chosen from those who wish to pursue studies in international relations, political science, public administration, law, human rights, economics, finance, banking and media, although the embassy is happy to consider applications for other studies. The winners were chosen by the British Embassy," the Embassy announced.
