The president of the Association of Technical Inspections, Dejan Novaković, said that after several months of adapting to the new rules and conditions for car registration, there is now less crowding for car registration.
He says that, however, the problem of engine registration remains.
"According to the new rules for the registration of two-wheelers for technical inspection, there must be a special line and room. Since it is a relatively large expenditure, a small number of technical inspections offer this service, but there are some in Podgorica", says Novaković.
Nevertheless, the problem exists, so motorcyclists contacted the "Vijesti" newsroom complaining that they had paid a fine to the police for driving an unregistered motorcycle because they allegedly had no place to complete a technical inspection.
"No one disputes that there is a problem and that there are not enough workshops that perform technical inspections of engines. The information that there is no place in Podgorica to register a motorcycle is also incorrect. We believe that the registration of all engines should be postponed until spring, when the conditions for providing this service could be created," says Novaković.
The new conditions for the technical inspection of cars, which began to be applied recently, have caused great problems for drivers. In addition to the more serious control of the technical and correctness of signaling, now the condition of passing the technical are correct window lifters, correct pumps for washing the windows and many other small things that do not affect driving safety in any way.
