The National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG) announced an advertisement for the head of the protection service in NP "Skadarsko jezero".
The NPCG previously announced that the previous advertisement for that position, advertised at the end of March, was withdrawn due to the Law on Financing Political Parties.
The new advertisement is looking for a head of the protection service for a period of 12 months, while the previous one was looking for half a year. The candidate must have a fourth-level secondary vocational education and work experience of 12 months.
"Candidates must meet the requirements of the Law on the Protection of Persons and Property - possess a permit for the performance of physical protection work issued by the Police Directorate," announced the NP of Montenegro.
Zoran Mrdak's department denied speculations that it is already known who will be the new head of the protection service and that "in this case they will also respect the law" and hire a candidate who meets the requirements for the position.
For the last two years, the duty of head of the protection service in NP "Skadarsko jezero" was performed by Batrić Popović, who worked most of the time without the necessary license to perform protection work.
He, along with several other gamekeepers from the lake, completed training for conservation work a few months ago, at the expense of the NPCG.
