Assistant Director of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Nikola Janjušević and Advisor to the Director of the UP Sead Frljučkić today organized a reception for police officers who will work in Croatia during the summer tourist season.
"According to the Protocol on cooperation during the 2014 summer tourist season, signed between the Police Department of the Ministry of the Interior and the Police of the Ministry of the Interior of Croatia, six police officers will work shifts in Croatia, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Department, in the period from July 1 to on September 1 of this year," the Police Administration said in a statement.
Janjušević and Frljučkić wished their officers successful work in Croatia, and it was pointed out that sending police officers to work in Croatia during the summer is an opportunity for the police of the two countries to exchange professional experiences.
The police officers who will be staying in Croatia expressed their gratitude for the trust shown to emphasize their professionalism through the aforementioned engagement.
The protocol between Montenegro and Croatia was concluded on the basis of reciprocity, so police officers from Croatia will also be employed in Montenegro during the summer.
Apart from them, police officers from Albania, Serbia, Italy and Macedonia will work together with our officers on the coast.
"The goal of the project of exchange of policemen during the summer with policemen from the region is the aspiration that tourists from neighboring countries feel at home in Montenegro. This project is implemented within the framework of the Operational Action "Summer 2014", announced the Police Administration.
