Activists of the Udar Movement will gather today at 18 p.m. in front of the MUP building in Podgorica, where they will support their arrested friends with a peaceful solidarity protest and show them that they are not alone in this fight.
"We believe that their detention, in addition to the excessive use of force during the arrest, is completely unfounded and just another way of intimidating free-thinking people. We hope that this kind of treatment by the competent authorities towards people who peacefully and non-violently express their dissatisfaction with the situation in the country, which has been going on for a quarter of a century, will not discourage other people who want to resist this regime in the same way," the Udar statement said.
They invited families, friends, acquaintances, colleagues of the arrested to join them.
