Bar rescuers today rescued an injured person near Štrbina beach in Sutomor.
At 15.15:XNUMX p.m., the Maritime Operations Center of the Maritime Safety Administration (UPS) received information from the Protection and Rescue Service Bar and the Security Center (CB) Bar that assistance was needed in the evacuation of an injured person near Štrbina beach.
Rescuer Nikola Bošković was hired, who was hired at Sutomorska beach to immediately set sail and provide assistance to colleagues from the Protection and Rescue Service who were searching for the injured person by land.
After the search, the injured person was located and transferred to Marko Dabović's speedboat and transferred to the western part of Sutomorska beach, where the vehicle of the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance was waiting, which provided first aid and transported the injured person to a health facility in Bar.
"The search and rescue operation itself lasted 46 minutes, which shows the readiness of the rescue teams, which showed high professionalism and coordination of services from land and sea. The OKC was informed about everything in a timely manner. This is an example of good cooperation between state authorities (UPS, police, SZS , ZHMP ) with the proper transmission of information and reporting," said Safet Kocan, director of UPS.
