The fourth "Green Montenegro international film fest-GMIFF 2018" ecological cultural manifestation, which will show more than 30 projections from 30 countries of the world, will open tonight on the shores of the Black Lake.
During four film evenings in the competition program, achievements from ecology, ecology of the soul and tourism will be shown.
"We deal with all topics of ecology from a cultural aspect. We are a member of the global Green network, visible in those circles and supported by the Ministries of Culture and Finance as well as UNDP, which supported us during the pre-festival and festival activities," says festival PR Marija Sarap and emphasizes that ecology soul promotes awareness raising in terms of environmental protection.
Sarap said that social activism is an integral part of the festival and reminded that they had previously reforested burned areas in the "Durmitor" National Park and organized a garbage cleanup around Black Lake.
The festival will be opened by the permanent coordinator of the UNDP in Montenegro, Fiona Mc Clunney, and the president of the Municipality of Žabljak Veselin Vukićević, the director of NP "Durmitor" Tomo Pajović and the president of the GMIFF council Ivana Vojinović will welcome the attendees.
