The winners of the "Oktoih" award for 2013 are Mirjana Vučinić, a biology teacher at the "Yugoslavia" Elementary School in Bar, and the "Zagorka Ivanović" JPU in Cetinje.
The "Oktoih" award, as the highest award for contribution to the improvement of educational work, loyalty and dedication to the teaching profession, was established in 1970.
"Octoih" is awarded every year to individuals and institutions in the field of education (preschool, primary, secondary and higher, as well as pupil and student standards) for exceptional results in education and upbringing.
The prizes, which consist of a plaque, a diploma and a monetary part, will be presented to the winners by the minister of education, Slavoljub Stijepović, on January 17, 2014.
