The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ranko Krivokapić, on the occasion of the death of national hero Jov Kapičić, sent a telegram of condolences to the Kapičić family.
In a telegram, he reminded of Kapičić's legacy for generations to come.
"Montenegro has lost its great son and protector of libertarian and civil society. Yugoslavia has been left without a faithful friend and heroic companion. We all have Job's fight for truth and justice as a guide and warning. Born in exiled Montenegro, in the lap of the betrayed Montenegrin army in Gaeti, Jovo's entire life until the last moment was a victorious battle with the same ideology of destroying his homelands of Yugoslavia and Montenegro," Krivokapić's telegram states.
Krivokapić said that time is the "best judge" of both Kapicic's deeds and Kapicic's enemies.
"He was wounded, just like Yugoslavia, by those who knew little and did all kinds of things. But there is no greater and better judge than time, years and decades that will shake off the shackles of facts and facts. Jovo left behind facts and wise decisions which the future will confirm and make an indisputable witness of his righteousness. In this difficult moment, find comfort and peace in Job's greatness and constant struggle. It was an honor to know him and be his friend. To him be eternal praise and glory," said Krivokapić.
