Members of the VII contingent of the Army of Montenegro, who were sent to the ISAF mission in Afghanistan, donated computer equipment to the Elementary School "Jovan Tomašević" in Virpazar.
The donation was handed over by the commander of the VII contingent of the Croatian Army, Lt. Col. Živko Rakočević.
"Children are our greatest treasure. Investing in them has the most positive effects because by improving their capacities we create a better future for Montenegro. We decided on an educational institution because in Afghanistan we had the opportunity to see how the lack of education has limiting factors for the development of a society." , Lt. Col. Rakočević concluded, according to the statement of the Ministry of Defense.
It is added that the director of the Elementary School "Jovan Tomašević" in Virpazar, Miodrag Šćepanović, thanked for the donation and confirmed that it had reached the right hands. As part of the donation, a presentation of the equipment of the Naval detachment of the Navy of the Army of Montenegro was also organized.
