29 thousand identity cards issued in official languages

Almost 29 thousand identity cards were issued in languages ​​in official use in Montenegro from the beginning of the application of the Law on Identity Cards, on May 5, 2008, until the end of last year. This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights on the development and protection of the rights of minority peoples and other minority national communities in the past year, which the parliament will discuss at the session starting on Tuesday. It is stated that 21.704 identity cards were issued in Serbian, 1.436 in Bosnian, 5.216 in Albanian and 496 in Croatian. From the beginning of the application of the Law on Travel Documents, on May 5, 2008 until the end of last year, at the request of the applicants, data on the name and the last name was entered in more than 15,6 thousand passports in languages ​​in official use. 7.650 passports were issued in Serbian, 1.450 in Bosnian, 6.218 in Albanian and 363 in Croatian.
