The director of the Culture Center in Ulcinj, Nailj Draga, together with his wife Zejnepa and daughter Barbana, earns more than 1.550 euros per month in that institution. Of that, Draga's salary is 757 euros.
Their gross earnings are more than 2.300 euros. Earnings in that institution are not regular, and according to unofficial information, the coefficients for calculating salaries are not aligned with those in the Municipality that is the founder of that public company. Draga said yesterday that "in his case, everything is completely legal".
"There is no doubt that my wife and daughter are employed in accordance with valid legal procedures, and that is easy to verify," said Draga. He is a high-ranking official and a member of the Main Board of Force, the strongest party in Ulcinj.
He came to the post of director of the Cultural Center after the elections a little more than two years ago, in which Forca triumphed. When asked by "Vijesti" whether it might be nepotism, Draga said that it was someone else's insinuations.
"My wife has been working at the Center for ten years. The daughter has been employed since a year and a half ago, when she won the regular competition," said Draga, who was also the director of the school in Ulcinj. The Cultural Center employs 26 workers, but the Drages are not the only ones who are related by family.
As we have learned, the former director Sari Resulbegović, who is still employed with a gross salary of 1.124 euros, employed a daughter, and the former manager Šaban Đekaj a son. The municipality has to set aside more than 16 thousand euros per month for the gross salary of the employees of the Cultural Center.
