A reader-reporter sent us a photo from the beach on Ada Bojana near Ulcinj, which shows a notice that could confuse many bathers.
The board explains the meanings of the flags that permit, restrict and prohibit swimming. The red flag, according to the English language explanation, allows unhindered swimming, just like the green one, which can confuse and endanger English-speaking swimmers.
It is possible that someone masked the word "not" in front of the notice "allowed to swim", but the authorities in HTP "Ulcinjska Riviera", which manages the beach, should definitely react and correct the notice. The board also has the logo and inscription of the Public Enterprise Morsko dobro, which makes the responsibility for it even greater.
The correction would also prevent situations in which tourists who speak only English could be confused.
