The municipality of Budva seized 17 apartments, seven business premises and 26 garage spaces in the apart-hotel "Tre cane" from the Podgorica company "Fab Live", businessman Jovan Popović, in the name of a debt of 6.5 million euros for utilities.
The property she received by registering in "Tre cane" will be transferred to the state, based on the municipality's debt in the name of taxes and employee contributions.
Namely, the municipality, as assessed by the mayor Lazar Rađenović, made an excellent move with this, because it managed to settle the debt to the largest creditor, which is the state, from its non-payable claim. The municipality owes the state 8.3 million euros in unpaid taxes and employee contributions.
In addition to the property in "Tre cane", which was estimated by the experts of the Real Estate Administration at 6.4 million euros, the Municipality intends to cede to the state an additional 783 square meters of its business premises in the apartment complex "TQ Plaza", which are valued at 2.2 million euros and thereby literally paying off the complete debt to the state, as one of the biggest creditors.
The second major investor that will be on the list of property confiscations, as announced by the head of the municipal utility collection service Ivan Dajković, is the Nivel company from Podgorica, which built the residential complex of the same name on the bypass.
