Tourists satisfied with Budva

Tourists who stay in the area of ​​the tourism metropolis are more than satisfied with Budva - according to a survey conducted by the Tourist Organization of Budva summarizing the impressions of tourists who stayed on our riviera between March 1 and August 1.

Namely, by summarizing the comments left by guests on the four most popular sites, they made an analysis of what delighted them and what were the criticisms of Budva's offer.

"Following the trends and listening to the needs and demands of tourists, who increasingly use the Internet as a tool for online reservations and information about tourist destinations and arrangements, the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Budva conducted an online survey in order to assess the advantages and disadvantages of Budva's tourist offer. This research included four websites: www.booking.com, www.agoda.com, www.venere.com and www.tripadvisor.com where people who visited Budva left their comments. The comments were mainly related to the facilities in which the guests were accommodated and which are advertised on these websites," the Budva Tourist Organization stated.

They pointed out that the results of the online survey are based on the processing of 9.302 comments from the above websites. There were 7.700 positive comments and 1.602 negative ones.

Positive comments refer to: the natural beauty of the Old Town, Petrovac, Sveti Stefan, the beauty and cleanliness of the beaches, the beauty of Miločerski Park, the high level of security, hospitality, an excellent choice and offer of food, peace and quiet, a good range of excursions offered by local tourist agencies, great choice of places to go out and have fun.

Negative comments refer to: noise in the Old Town and on the Slovenska plaža promenade, bad roads and traffic signals, large traffic jams, lack of public toilets, dirty and crowded beaches (Slovenska plaža, Bečići, Petrovac city beach), stray dogs, different prices for taxi services in the season, dirty city streets, insufficient number of parks and playgrounds for the youngest, Sveti Stefan (that the "Aman" corporation damaged the appearance of Sveti Stefan and the ban on the entry of tourists who would like to visit Sveti Stefan), insufficient knowledge of foreign the language of tourist workers, people selling food on the beaches and the lack of parking spaces (this is the most common negative comment).
