Another 480.000 euros need to be provided for the completion of works on the construction of the Cathedral of Christ's Resurrection in Podgorica, which will be dedicated on October XNUMX.
Protoneimar of the Cathedral, Momčilo Stanojević, said that the completion of the works is planned for September 30, so a message was sent from the press dedicated to the consecration of the crypt of the Cathedral, to the citizens to participate in the construction with contributions.
Metropolitan Amfilohije Radović of Montenegrin and Rimorski pointed out that they have not had any help from the state lately, clarifying that the rough works of the Temple were largely done with contributions from the Government.

"It is to the credit of the Government that sometime by 1997, thanks to the contract between the Government and the Directorate for Public Works and the then and current Prime Minister Milo Đukanović, the rough works of the Temple were done...", said Amfilohije.
Stanojević pointed out that the Government invested 1 marks for the construction of the temple, and to date, a total of 890.000 euros have been invested.
The consecration of the Cathedral will be performed by several Orthodox archbishops, in the presence of the highest church delegations of Christian churches and religious communities from all over the world.
Amfilohije said that the crypt of the Cathedral and the small church located within the temple will be consecrated on Sunday at eight o'clock.
As he said, the crypt was built only with contributions from citizens and the personal involvement of Pavle Milić, who will be awarded an order for digging the foundations of the crypt.
Amphilochius stated that during the previous 20 years, over 570 temples or monasteries were built or renovated, which shows that the people understood where they should separate from their poor.
