Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Predrag Bošković said that the inspection visited 32 companies that his department suspects have abused the right to refunds during maternity leave.
"Inspection control was carried out at the following legal entities in Podgorica: 'AQUA BK' DOO, Dental practice 'Dr Zoran Popović', DOO 'COMERSA', DOO 'Adrenaline', DOO 'IRUZ CG', DOO 'FDV COMERC', DOO 'VIA DKBB', LLC 'VERT', LLC 'FIBERNET', LLC 'ILION MNG', LLC 'MONTE KREDIT', LLC 'LOB Company', LLC 'TO-TO', LLC 'Akeksandra Texti', LLC 'MANUALIS', LLC 'Tapos', LLC 'Bamis', LLC 'DONATOR', LLC 'BIT' and in Bijelo Polje LLC 'ADO AKA', LLC SANIT DDD, 'BB AUTO', LLC 'GRADNJA', LLC 'Mišel', LLC 'FOTO VIDEO ZOOM', LLC 'DVA ŠESIRA', LLC 'AUTO CENTAR DAS', LLC 'DMM-CO', LLC 'KONTOPLUS', SZR 'ŠAR' and LLC 'EDI PUT', as well as LLC 'VALIENE','' announced the minister, answering the parliamentary question of Zorica Kovačević.
He stated that out of 32 controlled companies, seven with their headquarters in Podgorica were found not to be located at the given address.
Bošković, however, did not want to reveal the names of those responsible in those companies, referring to the Personal Data Protection Act.
By inspecting the Central Register of Business Companies, "Vijesti" found that there are no well-known names among the owners and directors, with the exception of Veselin Barović, who was the director of the company "Comersa" a few years ago. Among the companies mentioned by the minister are also interesting "Hibernet", whose founder is Telekom Srbije, the chain of sports stores "Lob company" by Zoran Ivanović and the toy importer "Donator" by Zoran Bulatović.
Chief labor inspector Angelina Međedović told "Vijesta" two days ago that the department inspected employers on the order of Bošković's department, but that they did not find any irregularities.
Međedović noted that the Labor Inspectorate established relevant data from all controlled employers, which were forwarded to Bošković's department.
"These data can be important as indications of possible abuses by a number of employers and the processing of those cases by the competent state authorities," said Međedović and announced the continuation of controls.
On Tuesday, Bošković established that the inspection bodies found abuses at 32 controlled employers, and that he forwarded the documentation to the state prosecutor.
Bošković said at the parliamentary session that, according to the findings of the inspection, it was determined that one dental office had two female doctors who had salaries of 1.400 euros during their sick leave, and only 188 euros before and after.
"Also, another company gave the woman in labor 153 euros before her leave, so that she would receive 1.800 euros during her sick leave, and 153 euros again after her return," Bošković said.
He announced yesterday that 2005 million euros were paid for refunds in 5,1, 2006 - 5,5, 2007 - 6,1 million, 2008 - 8,2 million, 2009 - 10,9 million euros, 2010 - 14 million, 4 - 2011, last year 17 million, and for the first four months 8 million euros.
