Chauvinist graffiti appeared yesterday morning on the front door of Necpredin Bakhtijar's apartment.
"Move Gypsies", is written on the wall and on the entrance door of the apartment in the Dutch sister building, in Zagorič, next to a cross with four glasses.
Bakhtiar noticed the offensive messages yesterday morning, but he did not know what they meant because he is illiterate.
"I never had any problems with any of the neighbors. I was born in Podgorica, I spent my whole life in this city, and I don't understand why someone asks me to leave it. I worked in the old hospital as a stoker at a time when there was no central heating and no boiler room. I am now retired," Bakhtijar told "Vijesti" yesterday.
He proudly points out that his father worked for the well-known communist official Blaž Jovanović.
He lives in an apartment of 39 square meters with four other family members, and he points out that until two months ago there were as many as 19 of them.
"We are poor and we have never harmed anyone. Until recently, there were 19 of us in this apartment, but my daughters and their families moved to barracks. This is not the first time that inconveniences have happened to us. Earlier, they threw stones at our windows and threw various garbage on the terrace," said Bakhtijar.
"Poisoned with Hate"
Nacpredin's neighbor Vojislav Bijelić claims that the Bakhtijar family has never been in conflict with anyone. He believes that someone who is "poisoned with hatred" wants to "put a stain on the Serbian people".
"Rizo Alković, who lived in the same entrance, had similar problems, so he had to move away. He now lives in Belgium. This is pure subterfuge against the Serbian people, this is being done by someone who wants to smear the Serbs in Podgorica," said Bijelić.
