The Minister of Internal Affairs Raško Konjević said that filing a criminal complaint against the Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector (MANS) is due to false reporting.
On Monday, MANS filed a criminal complaint against Konjević, due to the suspicion that he abused his official position, because, as they stated, he did not undertake all official actions to eliminate irregularities in the voter list.
Konjević told journalists in the parliament that he will not allow MANS to manipulate the public, and that he will file a criminal complaint against that organization for false reporting.
He said that he expects a competition for the election of police director to be announced soon.
Konjević recalled that he signed the decision to announce a new competition for police director during the campaign, after the failed first competition.
He added that the department he heads received information from the Human Resources Administration and the Employment Office that the vacancy cannot be announced in the campaign during the presidential campaign, due to the Law on the Financing of Political Parties.
"On Monday, I reminded the Human Resources Administration that I stand behind the decision that was submitted, and I expect that the competition will be announced as soon as possible," specified Konjević.
Commenting on the disunity in Bar, Konjević said that unpleasant cases happen.
"We have to make a lot of effort to keep these things at the required level," he said.
