Scholarship holders of the British government in Montenegro are developing cooperation

Montenegrin students who won scholarships from the British government as part of the Chevening program gathered in Kolašin last weekend to create a network of cooperation, the main goal of which is the promotion of science, education opportunities in Britain and contribution to the development of Montenegrin society.

At the first Montenegrin Chevening conference, former students, alumni of British universities, joined together in an umbrella organization called "Alumni Network from the United Kingdom in Montenegro" (MAUK).

Through numerous activities, they plan to promote the possibility of winning scholarships for Great Britain, help potential students, influence the resolution of problems and difficulties in finding employment after returning.

MAUK expects to contribute to the promotion of science and research activities, as well as to the development of Montenegrin society based on the experiences gained during studies in the United Kingdom.

The conference was organized under the auspices of the Embassy of the United Kingdom and brought together twenty Montenegrin Chevening alumni and guests from Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
