Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral announced that the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica could be consecrated in September.
"One of the contributions of our Church to the celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan, which originated in Montenegro, could be the consecration of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, the Cathedral Church of Montenegro in Podgorica," said Metropolitan Amfilohije, opening an exhibition of prints by academic painter Veljko Mihajlović in Kotor.
Amfilohije said that the heritage of ancient Duklja and Zlatica is woven into the temple.
"What the sculptor father Dragam Mitrović copied in a gifted way in the way that our Velja Mihajlović does," he said.
