The luxury hotel on the banks of the Morača, "Ambassador" in the center of Podgorica, owned by a former high-ranking police official from the time of the tobacco scandal Vasa Baošić, is offered for sale for a fantastic two and a half million euros.
"Vijesti" found information about the sale of the hotel on the renowned website www.4321.co.il, for the sale of real estate, where all the information about that valuable real estate is given. It was just on that site a month ago the sale of the luxury hotel "Mediteran" in Vienna was also announced, for an incredible 62 million euros.
Built a few years ago, "Ambassador" is considered a comfortable and discreet place for all those who want to be in the city center during their stay in Podgorica, and at the same time enjoy peace and quiet.
Surrounded by a pine forest, the hotel has three double rooms and six luxury suites, equipped according to the most modern and standards provided for by the four-star category, which this small hotel has.
The hotel also has several stone terraces, which go down to the very bank of the river.
Baošić, who is the general manager of the "Ambassador" hotel, became known to the public after he was appointed chief of the Bar police a decade and a half ago, at the height of cigarette smuggling.
At that very time, Bar was a favorite destination for members of the Italian mafia, who legally lived in this coastal city and did "their business". That time was also marked by numerous liquidations.
Baošić took the post of head of the Security Center in Bar after previously being the head of the special units of the MUP of Montenegro.
By the way, in 1998, Baošić was arrested in Bari, at the Bari-Paleze airport, at the moment when he was preparing to return to Montenegro, at the request of the deputy prosecutor of Bari in charge of the fight against the mafia.
The sale of valuable real estate, built during the past decades, has become common, so the owners of many Montenegrin hotels, luxury villas, apartments and houses, probably due to the crisis, decide to cash in on real estate.
He is moving abroad
Vaso Baošić confirmed to "Vijesta" that he is selling the "Ambassador" hotel in Podgorica. He said that the only reason he is selling the hotel is his poor health.
"Hotel 'Ambassador' is doing solid business, but my health is not good and I will probably be out of the country for a longer time," said Baošić.
Buyers are also being sought for club K3
The Budva night club "K3", owned by restaurateur Božidar Banović, was also put up for sale at a price of 1.001.000 euros.

The club, which was officially opened just this summer, just half a kilometer from the Top Hill discotheque, on the old road to Lastva Grbaljska, over Topliš hill, has been plagued by numerous problems.
The conflict between Banović and the first member of the Municipal Assembly, Krsto Ljubanović, who is a neighbor in the village of Svinjište, where the club is located, culminated after the parliament voted a month and a half ago to allow all restaurants, including "K3", located outside the urban zone, limit work until one hour after midnight.
Banović had even announced a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court to overturn the municipal decision.
By the way, Banović, who is also the owner of the "Kangaroo" hotel in Budva, as he himself told "Vijesta" recently, invested all the money he earned working in Australia in a business in Budva, and with foreign partners equipped and arranged the club "K3 ".
