Miroslav Boljević is one more exam away from the Faculty of Visual Arts from becoming a visual communication designer, so he has experience with design, web design, three-dimensional creativity, making interactive sculptures, paintings and photographs.

"I was interested in many things, the English language, computers, creativity in general. So I always researched, worked, tried to fulfill my idea through what I create and make others enjoy it. The bottom line is that it's not just me, but the idea of observing what people want and look for, so if my work meets their expectations and leaves an impression - I've achieved my goal,'' he said.

He looks for inspiration in the reaction of people, he sees the things around him in a different way and tries to evoke an emotion in the observer that will move him to do something good for himself or society.

"A work does not exist only for itself, but must have a relationship with the viewer, that's why I always try to create interactive works. My goal is not self-promotion, but for people to remember that they "live next to someone" and do something for others, make a contribution in order to improve society in all aspects. I've tried my hand at various spheres of art, but I still feel the best when I'm taking photos,'' Boljević explained.

From a young age, he has a desire to create something beautiful and useful, he understands creativity as a way to send a message to people that if "he cares about something, he can make thousands care about the same thing".

At the first competition in elementary school, he won first place for drawing a lion, and at the same time he went to the music school "Vasa Pavić", where in the guitar department he realized himself in some way in music.

He continued playing the guitar while studying at the Gymnasium in Danilovgrad, and he emphasized that one of his fondest memories is related to charity concerts.

A photo-story about the everyday life of Roma from Konik

As the biggest project, he singles out a photo-story about the everyday life of Roma from Konik.

These are vivid portraits that show the contrast between children's struggle and carefreeness - at the same time.

Thanks to his travels, he made friends, but also made many business contacts, so he is a frequent participant in various seminars, conferences and the winner of competitions in different parts of the world.

The awards are certainly recognitions, which are not decisive, but they encourage him to work even harder in order to justify his own and other people's expectations and prove that he can be even better.

Two months ago, his photo won first place in Nis.

"I sent a photo on the topic of 'Tolerance' and won first place. I often participate in contests, seminars and conferences and all the awards mean a lot to me, although I must emphasize that I am glad that they recognize my work and effort and that everything I do, I do it primarily because I love and want to give others pleasure,'' Boljević said. .

He participated in the competition for the redesign of the RTCG logo, where he won second place, and was in one of the ten award-winning teams in the "10 for 10" project, which was organized by the Ministry of Information Society and Telecommunications.

He was in America, Asia and what fascinated him was the obvious difference between Western and Eastern culture, completely different views on everyday life and life in general.

After a year spent in America, he received an invitation to come to Taiwan and participate in the peace parade on Kinmen Island, and he said that he would like it if volunteer work were valued here, as, for example, in the West.

It's not all about money

Boljević says that it's not all about making money, because the feeling when you help someone and do good cannot be compared or bought with anything. He can't single out his favorite work, he claims that his favorite is the one that ends up in someone's house, on someone's wall.

He always carries a camera, pen and paper with him and is ready to notice and show something that people may pass by everyday without even realizing that they are ignoring something important. What he likes the most is creating so-called "spontaneous" photos, because they show the essence, without setting up or dressing up.

Miroslav is currently one of the lecturers at the photography seminar in Kotor, organized by the EESTEC association.
