To the new convocation of the Board of Directors, which will be formed tomorrow, it will be proposed to expand the ranking list for admission to the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPN), announced the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro (UCG).
"Regarding the expansion of the list for self-financing students to FPN, UCG will, as before, respect the Government's decision on the number of students financed from the budget, as well as the decision of the University's Board of Directors on the number of self-financing students", the statement says.
The Rectorate stated that some faculties, in accordance with the practice established in the past years, expanded the lists of accepted candidates, in order to enroll students with excellent results, who were below the number provided for in the competition.
"We are not going to send children to UDG and pay school fees of 1.500 euros" >>>
"After that, the faculties turned to the Board of Directors, which should approve such decisions. However, this year the mandate of the previous convocation of the Board of Directors expired, and the new one is in the process of being constituted, so the faculties could not turn to that body for approval of the extension of the list" , the Rectorate explained.
According to them, to the new convocation of the Board of Directors, which will be formed tomorrow, it will be proposed to expand the list to include FPN.
"After the constitutive meeting, the new Board of Directors will consider the proposal and make a final decision at the next session," the statement said.
