There has been no water on the family estate of Veselin Milošević in the village of Laza Radević in Rogami for three years.
He and his neighbor Miodrag Radević warn that they will block the road to Pričelje if Mayor Miomir Mugoša does not answer them.
Milošević claims that he tried everything to solve the problem and to get in touch with Mugoša, but that he did not succeed.
"If the mayor of Mugoš does not receive us for an interview by July 15, we will block the road," Milosevic pointed out.
He believes that other neighbors will also support the blockade.
Milošević said that he had already asked to be admitted to Mugoša three times, but that he had not received an answer to this day.
"When I called, the secretary from his office told me that he was busy, but I was persistent, and in the end she told me that this case had been forwarded, but she didn't know to whom," Milošević said.
"I'm only looking for the basics"
Since last week, the Capital City has not responded to the questions of "Vijesti" regarding the problems of the residents of Roga.
In the settlement, 17 other families have plots, but, due to the lack of water, only five or six currently live on their properties.
"My neighbors and I gave the municipality part of the land when they were supposed to widen the road to Pričelje, and then we were promised that we would get water as soon as the works were finished, but it seems they forgot about it," Milosevic claimed.
''I'm not looking for much, just the basics. If I had water, I would have done something on the plot a long time ago, but it's really difficult for me like this.''
There was no road to his estate for even 30 years and he built it with difficulty...
''I'm not looking for much, just the basics. If I had water, I would have built something on the plot a long time ago, but it's really difficult for me like this,'' said Milošević.
When he comes to the estate, Milošević stays in a tin container, which he calls a house, with a small bed, a table and a bunch of tools.
"Necessity changes the law," he explains.
"Brought pipes in vain"
His neighbor Radević claims that their village was left out of the plans and that they are "like an appendix".
There is no sign of the promised waterworks
"At 500-600 meters on both sides of our properties, the neighbors have water and telephone, we are the only ones who struggle to bring water and manage when we need something. We invested our funds to build a small substation, so at least we have electricity,'' said Radević.
However, there is no sign of the promised water supply system.
"They even brought those pipes, but they are standing there in vain," said Radević.
He dug a channel about 300 meters long to his property and installed a pump in Zeta, so that he could water the garden.
