The defense attorney of Slavko Music, lawyer Zoran Piperović, in a rather extensive presentation, attacked the work of the Montenegrin prosecutor's office, characterizing this indictment as shameful, malicious and stupid.
Judge Jelena Perović Kovačević sentenced Slavko Music to four months in prison, while Marko Piper was acquitted of endangering the safety of "Vijesti" journalist Olivera Lakić.
"I feel sorry for Lakić, because she, like my client, is a victim of the stupidest prosecution in Europe," said Piperović, among other things.
He, as well as Piper's defense attorney, Dragan Mitrić, referred in the closing words to Lakić's statements, in which she states that she did not feel threatened and afraid of Music and Piper.
"Lakić cannot defend Musić from Ranka Čarapić, who arrests anyone, as long as the respected newspaper gives in a little," said Piperović.
