The bridge in the village of Dobrčin na Cijevna, in the town of Selište, will be ready for traffic in the second half of May, the Agency for Development and Construction of Podgorica told "Vijesta".
Locals and politicians in Malaysia support the construction of the bridge in Dobrčin, but they comment differently on who is responsible for its construction or who is to blame for not having it built earlier.
Đeljoš Ljuljđuraj said that in the 20 years since Milo Đukanović came to power, he has delayed the lives of the residents of Dobrčin.
"I have about eight tons of kiwis for myself and I provided that in time and I'm sorry when the youth today have no bread to eat"
"The former Minister of Forestry, Water Management and Rural Development, Milutin Simović, did not waste an hour in 16 years to come here and visit "little California" to help us with livestock, fruit growing, viticulture, agricultural machinery.
I sent requests to him and to the current minister, Tarzan Milošević, who received me only once and everything he told me was a lie. We don't need a bridge here, it doesn't mean anything to us, because it's a bigger problem to get to Podgorica, because when the Cijevna comes up, it closes the road downstream on six more bridges, and the water, even though I'm not tall, comes up to my chin.
The bridge should have been here 20 years ago, not now. Four ambassadors and directors were born in this village 450 meters away, and none of them did anything or took an interest in the village or the bridge," said Đeljoš.
"They tell us from the City Municipality that it is not necessary to have kiwis here, to keep goats, so we don't know who to turn to"
As he says, he has a small pension of 150 euros for 43 years of service, he retired as a truck driver, and his five brothers are out of work, they don't have agricultural machinery, they don't have irrigation pumps, nothing.
"That's why I went to Tarzan Milošević to urge for them. I have about eight tons of kiwi for myself and I provided it in time and I'm sorry when the youth today don't have bread to eat.
They tell us from the City Municipality that it is not necessary for us to have kiwis here, to keep goats, so we do not know who to turn to. The worst life here was after the war, when I went to school with a carpenter's pencil, and my late mother made my notebook out of sugar sacks. "Now we live in disgrace, but our leadership is to blame for that," Đeljoš points out.
"Mugoša is building a bridge"
Dobrčina resident Roko Ljuljđurović says that more was written about the bridge in Dobrčina in the media and the public than about the Milenijum bridge or bridges in America that are over four kilometers long.
"Fidija's offer was 140.000 euros, and Gradnjapromet's was 119.000 euros."
"Every 20 days, the television and newspapers "Vijesti", "Dan" mention this bridge, which is unnecessary. The bridge was planned to be built and now it is being built. It is not true that the citizens are building the bridge, as Kolja says, but the mayor Miomir Mugoša, who promised it and kept his word, because if we had the money, we would have built it ourselves since 1960, when we built houses here.
This bridge is significant for this region and we thank Mugoša because the citizens could not place a single board over Cijevna for 50 years. As a delegate of the local community, I was told that a tender was being opened for the construction of the bridge, on which Fidija from Podgorica and Gradnjapromet from Danilovgrad appeared.
Fidija's offer was 140.000 euros, and Gradnjapromet's was 119.000 euros. I helped the contractor as much as I could during the works, which is what they paid me for," said Ljuljđurović, who, as he says, had paved many of the access roads in that area with machines before.
A good place to live
According to him, the bridge is of great importance for the mentioned region, because they would not even be able to live in Dobrčin.
"If our bridge falls, we are separated from Podgorica, so we would have to go to Skadar to shop. This is a good place to live, we have quite a lot of land. My neighbor has about 3.000 square meters of kiwi, someone plants vines, someone keeps cattle, land is good, we have electric water pumps for irrigation in times of drought, if you had someone to work and cultivate it, this is an excellent place for animal husbandry, for keeping goats, both in Montenegro and in Europe.
It is nice and clean, the air is fresh, the pipe is clean. Every year I go to America to visit my son during the winter for two to three months, and I come here to spend the rest of the year," Ljuljđurović added.
"The bridge is the beauty of Cijevna"
The member of the SNP in the Assembly of the Capital City, Kolja Ljuljđuraj, said that the bridge on Dobrčina is very important for that region, especially for the locals who live there and spread to Cijevna, and that it was high time that society took an interest in the citizens and the area of Malaysia. .
"Nothing has been completed, and the financial plan foresees big money"
"The bridge is the beauty of Cijevna, on which there are a total of seven bridges, all of which were built by the citizens up to the border with Albania. This is not a big investment because 120.000 euros is not a lot of money. It was supposed to be finished by December 19, but why was it not finished by then, I don't know.
I only know that none of the projects that were supposed to be implemented in the area of GO Tuzi were implemented. The stories are that work has started even though the financial plan for 2008 planned the construction of a green market, a city cemetery, water supply, a kindergarten, sports halls, the road Dinoša - Zatrijebač.
As he says, the bridge would not have been built if it were not for the locals who organized themselves to build it
Nothing has been completed, and the financial plan foresees big money. I call on the current regime from the Capital City and from the City Municipality to publicly say and answer where the eight million that are praised by GO Tuzi are," said Kolja.
As he says, the bridge would not have been built if it were not for the locals who organized themselves to build it, and Kolja pointed out that it is not important whether it will be built in Tuzi, Kuči, Piperi, it is important that it is done, but when anticipate some funds, it must be known where every cent went, noting that about 400.000 euros are missing for South Malaysia that are foreseen in the plan.
Fali road, gamekeeper
Đeljoš Ljuljđuraj says that the current people who are in power are not even able to put a young fish in Cijevna, to bring a man to look after it, they have no roads and the roads are riddled with potholes.
"We complained countless times. They brought a roadman and after two days, they took him away, and we need a gamekeeper here. We were happy when the work started on the bridge because of the people who wanted it to be built, not because DPS which is not for the bridge," added Đeljoš.
The bridge is 28 meters long
The President of Tuzi City Municipality, Franjo Ljuljđurović, says that after assembling the steel structure of the bridge, as they were informed by the Agency for Development and Construction, he is preparing the ground for the installation of prefabricated reinforcement on the pavement slab.
"After the Easter holidays, concreting will follow, after which the waterproofing, the final layer, the fence and the access roads on one and the other side of the bridge will be done. There is no doubt that by putting this bridge into operation, the citizens of the village of Dobrčin, as well as other residents, will get a quality bridge that connects two coast and thereby enables better and safer traffic and transportation of mechanization and agro-technical means for cultivating high-quality land on the coast of Cijevna," Ljuljđurović pointed out.
The works are carried out by the company "Gradnjapromet" from Danilovgrad, the bridge is 28 meters long, four meters wide, along with a fence and a pedestrian path on one and the other side. The steel construction of the bridge was ordered from Macedonia, and the expected length of the access roads is about 300 meters, while the total cost of the bridge is about 120.000 euros, financed by the capital.
