The entrance to Kotor's Old Town from the south side on Gurdić, which was closed due to rockfall, was opened today. The passage was closed on Friday. The commander of the Kotor Protection and Rescue Service, Maksim Mandić, said that this morning they managed to remove part of the rock mass that threatened to collapse. "It is a rock whose part collapsed last year, and part a few days ago, and that there were no new problems of this kind", Mandić told the MINA agency. He states that the installation of the protective net is on order. to the chief administrator and the Directorate for Landscaping and Construction," Mandić said. Gurdić was already subject to collapse, and in 2010 rocks significantly damaged the access road and the fence leading to the entrance.
