Bad weather conditions and heavy rainfall caused damage to the network, the snow burdened overhead lines, resulting in damage to transmission lines and the low-voltage network, EPCG announced. Due to the failure of the transmission line Kotor - Cetinje and Morinj - Risan in the area of the municipality of Kotor, the power supply has been reduced, which means that certain parts of the city are being turned off alternately in order to avoid overloading the network, and will be applied until the establishment of normal power supply from the mentioned transmission lines.
The city center of Ulcinj is also without electricity supply, it is expected that the fault will be quickly repaired.
The settlements of Đurmani, Mišići, Haj Nehaj, and Zagrađe in the municipality of Bar are also without electricity supply.
In the municipality of Pljevlja, due to a failure of the 35 kV transmission line Židovici - Kosanica, the following villages were without electricity supply: Kosanica, Odžak, Đurdjevica Tara, Mijanovići, Kripuce and Bobovo.
On the territory of the Podgorica municipality, there is a suburban area without power supply: Bioči, Bratonizići, part of Pipera, Lijeva Rijeka, Brskut, Veruša, as well as Lješanska nahija.
The available teams of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore have been on the ground since the early hours of the morning and are trying with maximum efforts to locate and repair the remaining faults so that the entire consumer will be properly supplied with electricity as soon as possible, EPCG announced.
EPCG once again appeals to companies, local governments and citizens to use electricity more rationally so that there are no restrictions due to overloading of the power system.
