According to the new tariffs, which were adopted by the Chamber of Notaries at the beginning of December last year, the prices of notary services were reduced the most in the part related to the paperwork that follows the affairs of Montenegrin businessmen.
The same tariff remains for the value of the item over 120.000 euros, but for every 15.000 started, the fee is increased by 10 euros, with the fact that it cannot amount to more than 5.000 euros.
Included in this is the fee for the certification of the drawn up notarial act, the certification of signatures, copies and photocopies of documents and the issuance of dispatches and copies if they are issued immediately after the drawing up of the notary act.
For writing a will, the notary's fee has been reduced from 300 to 100 euros. For drawing up a power of attorney in the form of a notarial record, as well as for unilateral declarations regarding real rights to immovable property except pledge declarations (consent, permission, erasure permits...) the notary will charge 40 instead of the previous 50 euros.
Processing pre-contracts, contract annexes, as well as when terminating the contract, the notary fee has been reduced by 25 percent compared to the old price list.

For the confirmation in the form of a notary record of "the occurrence of facts on which the validity of a legal transaction depends and the fulfillment of the obligations arising from it and for legal actions and facts attended by a notary", is reduced by 20 percent.
The prices of notaries for engagement in emergency cases and work performed outside the offices have been slightly reduced.

As explained to "Vijesti" in the Ministry of Justice, before the opening of notary offices, they were obliged to sign insurance contracts with insurance companies.
Jadranka Vukčević from the Ministry of Justice does not agree with the claims of lawyers that notaries will earn millions at the expense of the state. She explained that notaries are taxed on three grounds.
Income tax is calculated annually and is paid simultaneously with the submission of the tax return. Notaries pay contributions for PIO 20,5 percent of the total annual income, then 12,3 percent for health and 1 percent for unemployment as well as a tax surcharge, at a rate of 15 percent.

More favorable for businessmen
For the drafting of founding acts of business entities in the form of a notarial document, according to the new tariff, notaries will charge twice as much instead of the current 300 euros, while drafting the statutes in the form of a notarial document will charge 200 euros, which was the lowest price according to the old tariff.
Tariffs have also been reduced for their engagements at the shareholders' meeting, making minutes. The prices for notary certificates and certifications, as well as for certifications of statements from business books and certifications of signatures, have remained the same.
The fee for making and submitting a request for entry in public books or competent registers such as the real estate cadastre, the Central Register of the Commercial Court, the Yacht Register has been reduced from 100 to 10 euros.
Issuance of a reissue or copy of a notarial deed, the notary will charge 25 euros instead of the previous 10 euros, and the same will be the cost of issuing a certificate of the existence of the original of the notarial deed, while the issuance of the original for the purpose of execution will now cost 150 euros instead of 50.
