Although the President of the City Municipality of Tuzi, Nikola Gegaj, recently announced that the bridge on the Cijevna in the village of Dobrčin will be completed by the end of the year and that the works are nearing completion, today at the construction site it could be seen that the bridge is not yet finished, and according to the head of the service and supervision in the Agency for Construction and Development, Snežane Adžić, the works will take another month.
This did not prevent the inhabitants of the village of Dobrčina from organizing a small celebration, a cocktail, on the occasion of the construction of the bridge, which was their perennial problem when crossing the Cijevna.
"We are witnessing that the bridge is in the final stage. The supports have been concreted and all preparatory work has been carried out, the depressions that we had under the bridge's supports have been repaired, and we expect that tomorrow evening from Macedonia, from Skopje, the steel structure will start, so the installation of the bridge should it will start on Wednesday at the latest," said Adžić.
As she stated, it will take five to six days for installation, if there is no rain, after which concreting of the road slab and preparation for asphalting of the road lanes on one and the other side and the construction of the fence would be started.
"All these works should last 30 days, and if we have wind or rain we won't be able to work, but when we finish the bridge we will have a safe crossing over Cijevna, which was worth the wait. The bridge was not at all safe or secure and like who knows what this time we met the demands of the citizens," added Adžić.
The organizer of the gathering of locals and contractors, Đeljoš Ljuljđuraj, pointed out that he had received a promise from the chief engineer that the structure from Macedonia, which had already left for Dobrčin once but was returned due to welding defects, would arrive by Wednesday at the latest.
"When the construction arrives, most of the work is finished, but until I see with my own eyes that the bridge is finished, nothing will happen. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped to build the bridge in any way. One man alone could not do anything, and the costs gatherings that I wanted to pay for, my brother Vaselj Ljuljđuraj from Australia is paying," said Ljuljđuraj.
The member of the SNP, Kolja Ljuljđuraj, pointed out that the bridge is important not only for the residents of Cijevna, GO Tuzi, but also for the capital and Montenegro.
"The bridge was in a state of decay, which is why four months ago we organized protests in this same place, demanding our rights to build the bridge, because there are several households crossing over it, and over 100 acres of land is located nearby that people use. They called We also invited Mayor Miomir Mugoš, but he did not find it appropriate to come. I thank all the people who came today, because the bridge is being built with their money, not Mugoš's money. Six bridges on Cijevna and the road were paved by a couple of citizens and emigrants from of this area, which are in Europe and America," emphasized Ljuljđuraj.
The contractor for the bridge in Dobrčin is "Gradnja promet" from Danilovgrad, and the investment is worth 120.000 euros.
