Montenegrin singer Andrijana Božović joined yesterday the participants of the creative workshops organized by the British Council as part of the "Inclusive Design" project, who with her presence supported the project of a public campaign dedicated to developing skills in the field of design and artistic crafts of people with disabilities.

Božović joined a group of ten participants, who will be engaged in making wooden objects during this week.

"Persons with disabilities need to be supported not only at organized actions and campaigns, but every day, in every segment of life. Although there are advances in the integration of these people, it is not enough, because there are still certain prejudices in society," believes Božović.

The products that the participants have made so far, and which were exhibited at the Christmas bazaar, met with great interest from citizens, which is a great confirmation of the justification of the existing workshops.

"The products that the participants have made so far, which were exhibited at the Christmas bazaar, met with great interest from the citizens, which is a great confirmation of the validity of the existing workshops," said British Council project assistant Sanja Mujović.

Mujović stated that the last workshop will be dedicated to the work and design of textile products.

Young people with disabilities will attend creative workshops until the end of December in Delta City, and their lecturers will be prominent Montenegrin artists.

Made designed items and souvenirs will be exhibited on the last Sunday of December as part of an independent presentation and sales exhibition of their creativity, and the funds collected from the sale will be donated specifically to people with disabilities who participated in the workshops.
