EPCG introduced restrictions for water supply in Danilovgrad and Cetinje

Elektroprivreda (EPCG), after several months of warnings and calls for cooperation, introduced periodic restrictions on the supply of electricity to the waterworks in Cetinje and Danilovgrad for two hours each day and night. It was announced from EPCG that despite the large debt, these companies ignored the power company's calls for an agreement, in order to avoid possible restrictions.

They called on the Cetinje and Danilovgrad water companies to reach an agreement with EPCG to their mutual satisfaction, in order to avoid more radical disconnection measures that would also make the users of their services suffer.

Exclusion of irregular payers in the following period as wellEPCG, as they reminded, has intensified the collection of arrears in recent months, with the possibility of signing the Protocol on debt settlement in several monthly installments. "The business of EPCG, in addition to the extremely complex electricity situation due to the months-long drought, is also burdened by consumers who irregularly settle the debt for the consumed electricity," the announcement states. to sign the Protocol, even though for a long time they have not settled the bills for the consumed electricity and outstanding debt. The non-selective principle of exclusion, as they said, applies to companies, households and enterprises under the jurisdiction of local governments. EPCG announced that in the coming period they will continue to exclude unruly consumers who have arrears, in order to protect the interests of society, the company and regular payers to whom they want to provide quality electricity supply.
