Fishing ban for all types of trout and grayling begins today. The ban will last until April 1, 2012.
The ban on hookworms lasts from March 15th to October 31st, and scobalja from February 1st to June 1st, 2012.
The eel ban is in effect from March 1 to June 1, 2012.
"On the Morača river, there is a total ban on fishing for all types of fish from the military bridge to the tiles, and from the second to the third tunnel, and it will last on April 10, 2014.
Also on Cijevna, fishing of all types of fish is prohibited upstream from the blue bridge (after the watchtower) to the houses of Ujkić. This ban was introduced on April 10 based on Articles 31 and 33 of the Law on Freshwater Fisheries, Official Gazette of Montenegro 11/07 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, and all in the interest of improving the fish stock," said Sreten Kavarić, president of SRK Podgorica .
