Representatives from two trade unions operating within the Protection and Rescue Service strongly condemned the behavior of commander Radomir Pješčić towards firefighter Predrag Milikić.

Three days ago, during firefighter training, Pješčić threw a helmet at Milikić and hit him, claiming that it was not adjusted properly and that his jacket was not buttoned properly.

After that, Milikić filed a criminal complaint against Pješčić with the Center for Security, and he also filed a private criminal complaint with the Basic Court for violation of human rights.

"Vijesti" previously wrote that during the entire summer season, Podgorica firefighters extinguished fires without a day of personal insurance.

"We would like to point out that because of a verbal offense, one colleague was suspended for four months and fined 30 percent of his salary and was transferred from the position of commander to the position of porter," said the trade unionists.

They emphasize that the workers of the Protection Service, despite inadequate equipment and old vehicles, have not protested until now due to lack of money and saving money.

"However, it is not mutual, because in the midst of saving, the commander bought a new Range Rover vehicle, worth around 70.000 euros, in addition to the Dacia vehicle that he also uses. In the last year, the commander fined several workers in the amount of 15 to 30 percent without conducting disciplinary proceedings," said the union.
