The newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Montenegro, Luka Zelioli, visited Bar today, and on that occasion spoke with representatives of local maritime companies. The ambassador first visited the company DOO Ocean Montenegro, which is XNUMX% Italian owned, where he was introduced to the company's past activities and plans for new investments in Montenegro by the president of the Board of Directors, Erih Kosuta.
After visiting the harbor waters with the tugboat "Topolica" of the company "Ocean Montenegro", the ambassador then discussed the Bar-Bari-Bar ferry line and the acquisition of a new ship with representatives of the Bar shipping company in the premises of AD Barska plovidba.
In a meeting with the representatives of AD Luka Bar and AD Port of Adria, Ambassador Zelioli expressed his satisfaction that the export of FIAT cars to Italy via Bar has been going on continuously for six years, and expressed the hope that this trend will continue.
In the morning hours, the Italian diplomat also met with the President of the Municipality of Bar, Dr. Zoran Srzentić, to whom he said that it is necessary to strengthen the ties between Bar and Italy, especially in the field of culture by organizing events such as an Italian film review in this city.
