The Council of Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG) announced a competition for the general director of that company for a period of four years.
On July 28, the council dismissed Branko Vojičić from the position of general director of that media company, and appointed Slavko Šepić, the former advisor for strategic development, as acting director.
As stated in the competition published in the daily newspaper, the condition is that the candidate is a citizen of Montenegro, has a residence there, has at least a university degree and at least five years of work experience.
The competition participant, it is explained in the competition, is obliged to submit proof that he is a citizen of Montenegro, a certificate of the place of training as well as proof of completed schooling.
"Participants are required to submit proof of the required work experience, the RTCG development and work program for the mandate period, and a certificate that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against the candidate," the competition states.
It is added that it is necessary for the candidate to submit a certificate from the competent court that he has not been convicted of a crime against official duty, corruption, fraud, theft.
The competition stipulates that councilors and deputies or those persons appointed by the Assembly, the Government or the President of Montenegro cannot be appointed as the general director.
Officials of political parties and owners of shares, shareholders, members of management bodies and have interests in other producers of radio and television programs cannot be appointed as general directors.
"Persons who are married to the person mentioned in this article or are related to them in a straight line cannot be appointed as general director," the competition states.
