What will be the consequences of learning and using both Iotated and non-Iotated variants of the Montenegrin language and how the teaching will be organized still remains an enigma.

"Vijesti" tried to get the answer to that question from the Institute for Textbooks, from which they said in a terse statement that the Montenegrin standard language provides for the equal use of jotted and non-joted forms.

"Therefore, the objectives of the teaching program for the subject Montenegrin language and literature are defined so that students become familiar with both variants, and after that, they decide to use one of them," the Institute states.

"Vijesti" did not manage to get an answer to the question of whether they could see the questions that school employees asked the Institute for Education and the Ministry of Education, after the seminar on the Montenegrin language, and whether the institution's teaching staff answered those questions.

School employees did not have the right to ask questions at Montenegrin language seminars, but could send questions via e-mail after the seminar.

From the Institute, "Vijesti" only received information that 42 seminars on Montenegrin language in teaching were held, which included the entire teaching staff who teach mother tongue and literature in primary and secondary schools.

"A total of 2.623 teachers attended the seminars. After analyzing the evaluation lists, the obtained results showed that the participants rated the content and quality of the seminar highly," said the Institute for Education.
