In the continuation of the session of the Municipal Assembly of Pljevlja, which was interrupted five days ago, the councilors of the Pljevlja Parliament spent most of their time discussing the Work Program of the Public Enterprise "Grijanje", i.e. the problem that arose after the chief thermal energy inspector Slavko Burić banned the permanent use of the boiler house in Skerlićeva Street.

The Assembly adopted the conclusions by which it tasked the Municipality of Pljevlja, which is the founder of JP "Grijanje", to find a solution with the Government by July 15 in order to provide heating from the existing boiler room in the next heating season, given that by the time it starts, as stated, impossible to find another solution.

The Assembly obliged "Grijanje" to replace worn-out installations, and funds for that purpose in the amount of about 50.000 euros will be provided from the permanent and current budget reserve.

It was proposed in one of the conclusions to buy the apartments on the first floor of the building in Skerlićeva Street, where the boiler house is located, if no compromise is reached with the tenants.

The adoption of the conclusions was preceded by a longer discussion. SNP councilor Stojan Tanjević asked the Municipality, which is the founder of "Grijanja", to find a solution so that 400 households are not left without heating.

"All households must have heating. It is necessary to work on this day and night in order to solve the problem by the beginning of the season," said Tanjević.

Miladin Gogić from NSD said that the reconstruction of the boiler house was done with many defects, while Novica Stanić from the same party said that this is the best confirmation of the "deplorable situation in which the government has brought us".

SDP member Bane Veljković said that it is necessary for everyone in the municipality to be animated in order to find a solution, but not to break the law.

The president of the SO Velimir Golubović added that the ban on work is a big problem, and that one gets the impression that many people are not even aware of how big it is.

"The state has taken the position that there will be no heating. Now the Ministry of Economy and the chief thermal energy inspector should admit that they made a mistake, so that they can use the boiler house, I think that is unreasonable to expect. If we cannot provide heating, then we should tell the users. so let them move somewhere, so that they don't face the winter in cold apartments," Golubović said.
