Members of the RAE population from the camps on Vreli trained for trade

Thirty-one trainees of craft activities of the RAE population received their diploma at a ceremony in the premises of the Red Cross of Montenegro, which organized their training in cooperation with the Center for Vocational Education of Adults.

Adult members of the RAE population from camps Konik 1 and 2, in the past period, underwent a four-month training in functional literacy, after which 28 of them passed the final exam.

The same participants continued to attend the craft activities course.

After the two-month training, 10 women passed the hairdresser assistant course, 10 men passed the vulcanizer assistant training, while 11 additional participants passed the final exam for car mechanics.

When taking the final exams, the participants had to pass two types of tests, namely the theoretical and practical part. Trainings for craft activities are organized in secondary vocational schools "Spasoje Raspopović" and "Ivan Uskoković".

Arta Rama, Miola Kalocaj, Merdijana Azdiojaj, Merlinda Avdijaj, Signorita Rizvanaj, Sadeta Tafari, Fatima Palocaj, Zufdijana Krasnići, Gendijana Bajrami and Edona Gaši received certificates for assistant hairdressers at SSŠ "Spasoje Raspopović".

"We are more than satisfied with the participants of this course. The girls showed enviable persistence and acquired enviable knowledge," said Ljeposava Vuksanović, director of SSŠ Spasoje Raspopović.

Certificates for vulcanizers were received by Arben Ajvazi, Azdon Alijaj, Sali Alijaj, Sedat Gashi, Rahim Kurtesi, Arijan Pajazitaj, Emuš Pajazitaj, Hamza Pajazitaj, Azim Koci, Zaim and Turkijan.

"This is very important for me and I believe it will help me a lot in the future. I will apply to the Employment Bureau and it would be great if I could also get a job, where I could apply the acquired knowledge.

I trained as a vulcanizer, got a new opportunity to improve and I believe I will use it. I'm young, I want to work and I hope I'll get the opportunity to do so," said the newly minted vulcanizer Hamza Pajazitaj.

Ismail Bahtijari, Kemal Bahtijari, Arton Jašaraj, Driton Jašaraj, Sabajdin Krasnići, Sebastjan Krasnići, Dijamant Pajazitaj, Lestin Pajazitaj, Arsim Sahu received diplomas for assistant auto mechanic at the "Ivan Uskoković" school.

The education was supported by the European Commission and the Danish Red Cross.
