The Seismological Institute of Montenegro registered last night at 22 hours and 52 minutes an earthquake of moderate intensity with an epicenter 20 kilometers southeast of Podgorica in Albania. The intensity of the earthquake at the hypocenter was 3.7 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to an epicentral intensity of five degrees on the Mercali scale. The epicenter of this earthquake was located at a depth of 15 kilometers. The Seismological Institute stated that the earthquake could not cause material damage in the epicentral area.
