The Minister of Science, Sanja Vlahović, spoke with the Italian Ambassador to Montenegro, Serđo Barbanti, and the diplomatic advisor, Mikel Mistor, about the possibility of signing an agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

Vlahović introduced Barbanti and Mistor to the government body's determination to improve the quality of scientific research work and bring it closer to the European research area by strengthening bilateral, multilateral, and cooperation with the economy.

"Ambassador Barbanti expressed the readiness of the Republic of Italy to provide full support to Montenegro on that path, both in the sense of providing consulting support to the recently formed Ministry of Science, and by organizing a visit by Italian experts from the field of science," the government body announced.
