New earthquake in Piva

The Seismological Institute of Montenegro registered this morning a minor earthquake with an epicenter eight kilometers west of Plužine.

The strength of the earthquake in the hypocenter was 3,2 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to the epicentral intensity of five degrees on the Mercalli scale.

As announced, the focus of this earthquake was located at a depth of eight kilometers.

The Seismological Institute stated that the earthquake could not cause material damage in the epicentral area.
