Amfilohije orders in front of the temple and the Cetinje monastery

The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral will organize a central laying of Christmas trees in front of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica. The laying of the Christmas trees will be organized on Thursday, January 6, at 17:30 p.m., and they will be consecrated by Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral with the clergy. Amfilohije will serve before that. liturgy in the church of St. John Vladimir in Bar, after which the cross for the dome of the temple narthex will be consecrated. Half an hour before noon, the lighting of the Christmas tree will be organized in front of that temple. On the Metropolia's website, it is stated that Amfilohije will then attend the lighting of the Christmas tree in the Monastery of St. Nicholas on Obod, and then at 15 p.m. he will attend the same act in front of the Cetinje monastery. On Christmas, On January 7, Amfilohije will serve the liturgy in the Cathedral of Christ's Resurrection in Podgorica.

The Church Committee of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church in Lovćenac and the Association of Montenegrins of Serbia "Krstaš" will organize a central Christmas celebration for the diaspora in that Vojvodina town. In the announcement submitted to the MINA agency, it is stated that the installation of the Christmas tree will be organized on Thursday, January 6, at 16:30 p.m. in the Cetinje park. The Christmas celebrations will first be ordered by the representatives of the Montenegrin nahijas and tribes, and then, at 17 p.m., the representatives of the Martinovići and Borilovići brotherhoods will do the same. It is added that the Montenegrin cultural and educational society "Ksenija" will perform in the cultural and artistic program. Fireworks will also be organized, while Krstaš has prepared Christmas gifts for the children.
